Erin''s Charm is a 3 member outfit based out of Abilene, Texas in love with traditional Celtic music and the beauty, storytelling and fun of acoustic folk. Our CD is a selection of tunes that received the most attention during our live performances, or those that were requested most often. There are only four pieces that are not so old as to have entered into the public domain, one of which is an original penned by our own Christine Allen (Assurance).
The music has 6 and 12-string guitars, violin, piano, 2 and 3-part harmonies, hand claps, drums, auxiliary percussion such as the djembe, tambourine and shaker, bass guitar, harmonica and a unique instrument not-so-widely known as a guitaret, heard on the closing track (Old Irish Blessing).
