''The Aquarian Project'' is film composer Patrick Finnegan''s first official release. After years of scoring jingles, TV shows, documentaries, and various multi media presentations he felt the need to document his work with a complete film score available for public consumption.
In 2006 Pat was hired to score an independent, "kitschy" UFO themed film. After a few months of production delays and technical hiccups the movie was shelved. Although disappointed by the film''s early grave, Pat kept the half finished soundtrack as a "side project" that he''d return to every couple months. The composing and recording came in fits and starts however after 4 years "The Aquarian Project" had a completed score which was mixed, mastered and ready for delivery, despite the long forgotten visual accompaniment. "Its the perfect opportunity to do something like this" says Pat. "For some reason or another this collection of quirky, bizarre and experimental tracks make sense as a package. Even though it took forever to finish and its hardly indicative of my normal work, I just felt the need to get it out there."
"Out there" it is and ready to be the soundtrack to whatever activity you see fit. Pour a tall glass of your favorite libation, turn on the lava lamps, sit back and let your imagination be the cinematographer. It won''t take long before you start seeing little green men doing the limbo in your living room.
