Meet The Dirt Radicals; the radio-friendly, 3-piece, punk rock outfit with an insatiable appetite for writing good music and putting on one hell of a show!
Although a new band, the members have been playing alongside each other for close to a decade in various other successful punk bands. Vocalist/Guitarist Masashi Kimura, Vocalist/Drummer Matt Cooper and Vocalist/Bassist Sam Cooper decided it was time they rediscovered why they got into music in the first place, and The Dirt Radicals were formed.
“All we want to do is be best friends, playing in a band together, getting drunk, and doing shows. We felt the music ‘business’ had gotten in the way of what’s more important – the music, and being friends!” says Sam.
Since forming in Dec 2009, the band has been in the studio working on their 12 track debut with Producer, Leonard Soosay. Slated for release in late 2010 – The Dirt Radicals will be rocking a stage near you very soon!
