Born and raised inVancouver,Canada, Tamara has been performing since a young age. After high school Tamara moved toNew York Citywhere she attended theAmericanAcademyof Dramatic Arts.
Since then, Tamara has studied with cabaret legen Helen Baldassare at TheNewSchoolUniversityand with the Professional Jazz Division at the Brooklyn-Queens Conservatory of Music. There she majored in Voice and performed with various ensembles from gospel to traditional jazz bands (some of which she even enjoyed playing the sax in!)
Tamara has performed in many events and shows in her home town ofVancouverand inNew York-the ''Shiva''s Divas'' show at CrushChampagneLounge, as well as a series of charity concerts called "Stripped" and "Fashion RocksVancouver". You also may have heard her singing the Title track to the hit television show on Showcase "Show Me Yours", where her songs " Sweetest Thing" and "Empty Room" were featured as well . "Pushin My Buttons" and "All My Ladies" was also featured on Godivas on Bravo and City Tv.
