Born Zachary James Beishline in Perth Amboy, New Jersey in 1985, he writes poetic songs about everyday situations in life that anyone can relate to.
His first song was written in seventh grade and he soon developed a smooth tip of the tongue flow and freestyle ability, keeping the lyrics true to where he has been and what he had been through.
Zackary James spits about what was good and bad, positive and negative, sweet and bitter, and called himself Zackariah, meaning "one blessed by God."
After four independent demo''s with his group called Academy of Fist, Zack recorded a 6 track EP in 2004, and a 4 track demo in 2005 with producer John McGinnley.

In 2006, Zack performed in the 100 Man Freestyle Battle at the Whitaker Center Harrisburg, and was one of the final 3. He won the Jeffrey Gaines Performing Arts Scholarship and recorded the debut album Shades of Grey, for an August 15, 2006 release.
Zackary ventured into the world of television with WHPTV 21, CBS for the Life Esteem Show, a half hour interview about the music and background. It aired July 23, 2006.
Zack met Layzie Bone of Bone Thugs N Harmony, and Tech N9ne on October 17, 2003. Layzie said, "You a pimp, and that ain''t got nothin to do with no ho''s. You got your game tight, your music is tight, you got demos you brought to me. You got your eyes on the prize. Dreams do come true! Never give up. We okay because God is with us here in our hearts."
His advice to the youth of the world, whether stuggling to make it in the music business or not is: "Life is an adventure, and once you understand your surroundings, you are able to outdo, outsmart and outwit your opposition. Stay humble, and never give up! Fight for what you believe in and for what is important to you no matter what anyone else may think. Never lose sight of your dreams and goals. The prize is waiting for you. Go all out, never settle for less. Be persistent and stay original. God will set your path for you, all you need to do is walk it. You can''t actually FAIL, you can only be set back, in which case you need to stand tall and just GRIND, put in work, and baby.. do your thang!!"
