...We have been together for about 15 years. In order to stay together for that long and still have fun I''d have to say that we are not simply a musical group but a circle of true friends. A combined interest in history and music is what brought us together. Hopefully we have found a way to preserve part of that history through music.

**Susie Stephenson** (Hammered and mountain dulcimer) A self-taught hammered dulcimer extraordinaire...jaw harp...harmony vocals......procurement of food.... censorship(''''shut-up Dave'''')....and cruise control (''''slow down Dave'''') .
**Chris Dempsey** (fiddle, mandolin, cello, harmony vocals) Has been playing the fiddle for 24 years, and his fiddlin'' makes people want to dance until their socks are hot and ravely!.....backing the trailer ... and driving in the rain...
**Heather Dempsey** (lead and harmony vocals, tamborine. dance caller) Has toured Europe with an ensemble, singing in some of the most noted cathedrals in the world. She is now the dance caller for Un-Reconstructed, and explains 19th century dance steps to eager ball attendees, often creating something beautiful out of absolute chaos.

**Doug Jennings **(Lead banjo, lead guitar, vocals) Has picked with us for the past 100,000 miles. He''s always got a new lick and will sleep in ANY hotel, no matter how bad. He has a high tolerance for pain and suffering, as the rest of us do!
**Doug Carson** (Fiddle, Bass, Melodeon, Piano) Doug can play anything he puts his hands on, and is a real "old soul". When he speaks of the "War Between the States" one feels as if he has really been there, and has made a special visit just to tell us about it!
**Jessa Hawthorne** (Hammered Dulcimer) Has been playing with the band for several years now, starting out as an understudy to Susie. She is a student of history, and enjoys the historical context of each song almost as much as she enjoys the sound it makes.
**Nolan Hawthorne** (Banjo, Guitar) Jessa''s younger, but taller, brother. He helps Dave with rhythm guitar and plays rhythm banjo. He grew up around the band and has quickly picked up their love of music.
**Harry Nuttall** (Bass, jug) Has a powerful rhythm! When not at work on the 8th floor of the literature library at Jacksonville State University, he plays bass and helps with musical arrangements for the band
