The Coda Duo is an award winning classical guitar duet based in Columbia, SC. Brett Floyd and Christopher Jenkins have performed concerts in numerous venues in South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, Indiana, Tennessee, Texas and Washington DC, and won first place at the Brownsville Guitar Ensemble Festival and Competition in May 2010.
The Coda Duo has performed on numerous performing arts series, including Tuesday’s Music Live in Augusta, Ga, Midday Music and Lunch in Aiken, Sc and The Candlelight Concert Series at Bruton Parish in Williamsburg, Va and The UUC of Charleston, SC. They have also performed concerts at George Mason University as well as the Rosario Guitar Festival.
The Coda Duo also recorded their first CD this year, premiering the three movement work, “Sonata Andaluz” which was composed and dedicated to The Coda Duo by German composer Ralf Bauer-Mörkens.

The members of the Coda Duo have experience as both solo and ensemble performers.
Brett Floyd is a performer and teacher in Columbia, South Carolina where he is pursuing a DMA at the University of South Carolina with Christopher Berg.
Brett received his B.M. in performance from the Indiana University School of Music under the direction of Ernesto Bitetti and his M.M. from the University of South Carolina School of Music.
He has performed in masterclasses with David Russell, Sharon Isbin, Ricardo Cobo, Bruce Holzman, Hubert Kappel, Jose Lascano, Robert Trent, Christopher Berg, William Yelverton, Ernesto Bitetti, Lily Afshar, and others
Brett has performed with the Indiana University Philharmonic Orchestra, the Indiana University Chamber Orchestra, USC Guitar Quartet, Trinity Concert Series, Columbia Guitar Society concert series, and many other concerts across the mid-west and east coast.
He has taught guitar at Indiana University, USC Upstate, and in 2005 was the graduate assistant to Christopher Berg at the University of South Carolina.

Christopher Jenkins is a performer and teacher in Columbia, South Carolina where he is pursuing graduate studies with Christopher Berg. He completed his B.M. in Performance from George Mason University under the direction of Larry Snitzler.
Christopher has performed in masterclasses with Pepe Romero, Roland Dyens, Martha Masters, Gilbert Biberian, Gallardo Del Rey and Joaquin Clerch.
In July of 2006, he attended the Interpretation of Spanish Song Festival in Granada, Spain and in May of 2008 performed in recital in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
In addition to performance, Christopher maintains a teaching studio that includes students of all ages and he is a member of the Guitar Foundation of America.
