Kris Leigh is a hard rock/rock/alternative singer/songwriter
Kris was born January 4th 1987 to Wanda and Claude Holloway in Savannah, GA and was raised in Statesboro, GA. Growing up he had always had a great love for singing. He would sing and dance to bands such as The Rolling Stones, The 4 Tops, The Temptations, Elvis, Elton John, and much more as a child.
When he first heard R.E.M’s Losing My Religion at the age of 8, he knew that this was what he wanted to do one https://www.tradebit.com every day after that for the longest time he would sing that song over and over each day.
As Kris got older he began listening to bands such as Def Leppard, Duran Duran, Mr. Mister, Michael Jackson,David Bowie, Cheap Trick…, being heavily influenced by what his brother would listen to, trying his best to be like his older brother.
Longing for so long to be a singer, his dreams got pushed aside as he entered high school and threw himself into his school work. A A-Student,Kris excelled greatly in the smarts department eventually getting accepted to such schools as Mercer University in Macon, GA and graduating with Honors and a 3.9 https://www.tradebit.com things didn’t always go good in his life, for the passing of his grandfather really hurt him inside. After high school he began college, but that dream came back into being when he sat outside of Belks’ with his mac and recorded a song about his recent bad breakup that really had him crushed inside.
