A few simple words contain the idea of music of 7 TRAINING DAYS.
IN A SAFE PLACE, the band''s debut album formed by Achille Fiorini (guitar), Giovanni Ignagni (drums), Simone Ignagni (vocals and guitar) and Antonio Tortorello (bass), is a journey in ten stages through physical and imaginary places, in the balance between emotion and social analysis.
The indie rock imprint is countered by a strong melodic thrust, not alien to those influences that have made some of the big band of the reference group: REM, Wilco, Low, The National, Nada Surf, Pearl Jam.
IN A SAFE PLACE is the culmination of four musical history, whose roots lie in the fertile soil of the rock of the early 90s and then developed through a long parable of musical experience and sound experiments gained over three decades.
Finally, in the summer of 2006, Antonio, Simone, Giovanni and Achille met on common ground and decided to merge ideas and influences to create a new proposal that tries to combine the look of the original alternative rock (scene of New York but also clear indications of the England post Brit-pop) and some classicism from the American underground.
The body of the songs took shape through many stages live events that 7 TRAINING DAYS have used both for testing the real communicative power of songs, both as an expression of an artistic approach naturally linked to contact with the stage.
This "safe place" becomes the starting point of “On A Safe Stage”, a promotional tour that will accompany the album release, scheduled for April 5, 2011.
The album is completely self-produced, will look at the music industry making the most of the communication channels offered by Internet media and the immense scope of the web.
