Juan G. Perez was born November 14th 1985 and was raised alongside his three brother and sister In Southern New Jersey. Juan only knew his Father through family stories and pictures, they would tell him how his father was a great Musician, who performed locally and was respect by all of his peers. This, combined with a early exposure to Classical Music, peeked Juan''s interest in many different sounds from around the world.
At the age of 11, Juan''s Mother bought him his first electric piano for Christmas, changing Juan''s life forever. He would spend and unimaginable portion of his childhood figuring out the sounds of music, on his own. He was 13 when he created his first fundamentally correct musical composition.
The influence of his environment was inevitable and Juan gained interest in Urban Hip-Hop Music. But never one to follow trends, He approached Hip-Hop with a Classical Piano base, and his music easily stood out amongst his family and peers as something unique and exciting. He became a gravitational-force, as many would-be Hip-Hop acts sought out his aid in shaping their sound.
After locally releasing Two Hip-Hop albums, Juan felt compelled to move on to other genres of music that also inspired him, leading to his Experimental 3rd Album: Expressions. As the title would suggest, Juan had a personal and musical break-through; Putting together a slew of original songs that Expressed who he was and what he wanted to do with his music. He surprised fans once again with his 4th Album at the age of 24 titled "Acoustic Love" showcasing his love for life, the origins of music, and perhaps a subtle salute to his Father storied-life. Young, Inspired and Faithful to his craft, Juan G. continues to improve, re-define and create music that fans know will always remain honest and fresh.
