On Monday, June 14, 1965 Paul McCartney recorded the vocal track of "Yesterday", one of the Beatles most enduring and beloved songs. The use of a string quartet as the sole accompaniment to Paul’s vocal was revolutionary and ground breaking in the history of Beatles’ recordings. "Yesterday" was never released by the Beatles as a single, although it was and still is one of the most popular and all time best selling of their songs.
Here Yesterday is released as a single with Jeffrey Goodman’s performance of his arrangement of "Yesterday" for solo guitar.
