Michèle Sorel, singer reveals a career sparkling with a host of achievements. Michèle was brought up in classical tradition tempered by Haitian roots. During her early years she was musically encouraged by her parents and was accepted into The Manhattan School of Music’s Preparatory Division where she began formal training.
Rapidly emerging as a noteworthy artist of unique ability Michèle attracts, to great acclaim, diverse audiences throughout Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America. She enjoys a life on the stage and can also be heard on recorded sound tracks for feature films and commercials.
Marc Mathelier, a native of Monrovia, Liberia began playing classical guitar at the age of eleven. A versatile guitarist and avid musician, his styles of repertoire range from Baroque to Fusion-Alternative/New Age.
Marc has been featured nationally and internationally during his brilliant career. He has presented over four hundred performances while providing ever-constant support to a number of non-profit organizations and fundraisers.
Marc specializes, on the guitar, in the adaptation of traditional music in the tradition of Frantz Casseus and Amos Coulanges. His adaptations and music represents a dialogue created from ideas common to contemporary lifestyles.
Marc Mathelier is a refreshing alternative to today’s standard performances. Marc’s music takes us on romantic and exotic voyages. His exotic voyages celebrate Music, Love, and Life. With deepened artistry and incomparable guitar technique Marc’s music transforms. “It’s a State of Mind”. As he tastefully arranges and creates each piece of music Marc successfully maintains introspective moods throughout his performance. His mastery of the guitar and his variety of styles make him one of the virtuosos of Haitian music. A winner of numerous awards, Marc has concertized with taste in Teatro Oficina , Sao Paulo, Brazil, E.J Hall, Monrovia ,Liberia, and Rex Theatre Haiti. In the United States he graces many distinguished stages including New York’s Carnegie Hall , Town Hall(NYC) . He has also been presented in scholarly lecture conference at several universities namely; Syracuse University, New York University and the University of Maryland.
