Almost three years ago, Ashley told her all-time favorite artist that he inspired her in her own songwriting. "Well, let''s hear it!", he said. Oh. "Well, I guess I better record something then," she thought. Three self-made albums later, she''s still hiding in her basement recording songs with the instruments she has managed to stuff into one little room and she is still sharing them with her fave rave artist. He likes ''em. "Go for it!", he says, but she''s not quite ready for that yet. Until then, she is still learning each time she hits the record button, and is having a lot of fun in the process. She hopes you will have fun listening.
No, there are no love songs. That''s not her style. These ones are based on books. She likes reading them, so why not sing about them? She likes thinking about things from other points of view. Whether they are human or not.
Note: She has decided to only use acoustic guitars this time around because she was going a little crazy with effects pedals. That''s for next time. She also recommends listening through headphones to really "get it", y''know?
