Details:
''Over and Over'', recorded at The Half Ton Studios near Cambridge, England, was the last recording made by the original Sand Dollars line-up in August 2008.

The overall sound of the album has a rockier, darker edge than their debut release ''Dependable Sociology'' which was a lighter mix of genres ranging from acid jazz, funk, blues and good old pop. That is not to say that ''Over and Over'' is all gloom. The title track ''Over and Over'' is introduced with a disco beat and a deep bass hook that grow into a solid chorus and ethereal middle section sang by Lewis Andrews. The next track, ''Little Mama'', has a driving rhythmn reinforced by acoustic guitar, keys and vocals from Duncan Casey.

''Market Town'' is introduced with a slower-paced acoustic guitar riff, although it has to be said that this song is probably the most epic sounding of the four tracks when the electric guitar and Hammond organ kick in during the chorus. ''Market Town'' is worth a listen to if you don''t listen to anything else.

However, skipping the last track would be doing a disservice to ''Good Foot'' sang by Lewis Andrews. It is a feel-good pop pick-me-up that contrasts to the lyrically serious and musically darker tone of ''Market Town''.
