Lue Moore Sr. has been singing gospel music for over 50 years. Lue was raised and still resides in Ringgold, Louisiana. He started singing in a small town church in his teens and by his twenties, he was singing with a group named the Imperials. Traveling mostly throughout Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi, after nearly twenty years of singing with the Imperials, they parted ways. Lue started writing songs soon after and returned to the choir he grew up with. Always yearning to share his gift with others, Lue was approached by his nephew, Bradford Moore I, about recording some of his original songs. Their dreams came to fruition April of 2011 when Lue made the journey to Houston, Texas to go into a studio for the first time in over thirty years. The original arrangement was developed by Maestro who is from Heflin, Louisiana. The expertise of Kenneth Taylor at Global Sound Production(GSP), developed these inspiring songs for all to enjoy. This compilation was brought together with faith and prayer and it is all of our hopes that it will inspire, uplift and offer praise to each and everyone that listens to “On My Way To Heaven” by Lue Moore Sr.
