Details:
This young pianist always appears at the stage with dark glasses in his eyes, when at all times with someone’s escort. Getting closer to the piano and feeling it with his palm, he gives a signal to his escort, who promptly leaves him… Also feeling and adjusting his chair he sits down. After this week appearance, he regains his self confidence: now, it is him, his piano and his attentive audience. He reaches his hands towards the piano keyboard, keeping it little bit higher… The first not is played… The concert has started…
He was born in Yerevan, Armenia on December 26, 1989. In age sixty he completely lost his vision. He is attached to piano from his cradle, when his father would turn on the player and little Levon for hours would listen Mozart, Breams, Debussy, George Benson, Oscar Peterson… To this date, Music is his companion and as he notes: “Someone may desert me, but not music; it is my faithful companion.”
In 2007 Levon graduates Alexander Spendarian’s musical school and the same year he was accepted in the musical Conservatory of Komitas. Now he is in grade 3, in professor S. Kecheks class.
