Details:
"Changes" is Aquarela''s second album, published in the Philippines in October 2008. The band is lead by Miguel Juteau, a French / Spanish singer-songwriter and guitarist. The feminine side of Aquarela is Evelyn Juteau, a singer from Cebu, Phiiippines.

This album has been their most successful so far, with their song Samedis Nirvana being featured last year on Dream FM 106.7 as their Totally Fresh Cut. They are also a recent winner of the Awit Awardee (Manila’s version of the Grammy’s) for Best World music, for their version of the classic Cebuano song, “Usahay”. They were also nominated in the same category for the song “Boracay” which has Filipino jazz veteran Mon David on guest vocals.

Recent gigs included participation in the Philippine International Jazz Festival in 2008 and 2009; guest TV spots on ABS-CBN 2 as well as a more recent and regular Friday night stint at the Makati Shangri-La in Manila.

With songs like Melena Loca that would fit the Samba genre, Boracay for their take on jazz, Cancion De La Fregona for its flamenco sounds, as well as Latin Pop like Cita En Soledad and Sin Amor, and not to mention French Pop like Samedis Nirvana and Saint Malo, their most recent work is reflective of their capacity to combine all these different influences into a stylish blend of their own.
