hailing from ireland, aidan spent ten years working as a sound engineer and session musician on the dublin music scene. during this time, he met and worked with many diverse acts who helped him hone in on a sound and style that he now calls his own.
he has spent the last three years on the road with the wallis bird band, both playing as a musician in her band and often playing support at the shows. with wallis, they released their second studio album with columbia records in march 2010 and have just wrapped up an extensive european tour.
since 2005, aidan has been working with the belgium-based collective of artists and musicians, "le bonheur est dans le b". together they have toured throughout belgium and organised exchanges with many international groups.
in 2009, aidan moved to belgium where he met a group of like-minded and motivated musicians to accompany him on his music. "aidan & the italian weather ladies" will release their first album together, entitled "live and sans souci" in april 2011.
