Details:
On his long awaited debut, Chicago native, singer-songwriter Fa’Darryl ventures on a path less traveled by today’s contemporary artists. With the release of his album, “Last Man Standing”, he carefully merges two popular genres of music, Contemporary Gospel and R&B, and coins a new genre he cleverly calls, "Inspiring B".

Having written his entire album, Fa’Darryl manages to display great versatility within his music. He credits his style and sound to popular artists such as Ne-Yo, Kirk Franklin, Brandy, Daryl Coley, Karen Clark, Tonex, and Boyz II Men, to name a few. Capturing the essence of stylistic singing, Fa’Darryl easily demonstrates vocal range, dexterity, creativity, and soulfulness that radiates passion and honesty into every note. With his technical training and a skilled grasp of multiple genres of music, he is not afraid to take risks and has indeed become a trendsetter amongst his peers.

When asked about the creation of "Inspriing B", Fa''Darryl explains that, "This generation is in need of music that is positive, yet easy to relate to. I believe that there is a way to present R&B that doesn''t poison the minds of the youth, and similarly, there is a way to sing Gospel music that doesn''t make salvation appear boring and dated. I aim to send the message to this generation that despite what the world says is "in", it is still "in" and very cool to be saved."

More About Fa''Darryl

Fa''Darryl has proven that his gifts and talents are not limited to singing and songwriting. While studying vocal and music theory at both People’s Music School and Saint Xavier University, he wrote, co-wrote, and starred in three musicals, “As for Me and My House”, “I AM”, and “Nebuchadnezzar”. Each of these musicals was critically acclaimed, having been toured and performed throughout the Chicago land area, consequently gaining him great notoriety within his surrounding communities. In addition to this, he is the co-founder and co-owner OneFLO Entertainment, responsible for the writing and production of smash hits of upcoming artist such as Brittany Monet, T. Parker, Dre Day, J-Tigg, Qissmet, and many more.

When asked about his plans for the future, with confidence and sincerity, Fa''Darryl quotes a verse from the first single off his debut albums, “Ghost (Let itGo)”, which says,

“An angel came to me and said one day,

That the trials you face, they only come to test and strengthen your faith.

He said, ‘I was sent to inform you that you’re destined to fulfill great things.

And no man can stop you, but you, so now the choice is yours alone to make.’”

And it certainly appears that Fa''Darryl has made the choice for success as he has already begun to work on his third album, “Lifted”, and is preparing for the highly anticipated release of “The David Way Project”, by Chicago’s own super-producer David Way, which he co-executive produced. In addition, Brown has recently been casted in the upcoming film, “Friends, Family, and Lovers”, directed by Michael Ballard, and is also scheduled to graduate with a master’s degree next fall. “Eyes have not seen, neither have ears heard what God has in store for Fa’Darryl,” but he definitely gives the world something great and phenomenal to anticipate.
