Zhaquez Griffin, “Fat Boy Fresh” was born in Lake City Florida on January 31, 2002. Zhaquez Griffin “Fat Boy Fresh” attends Elementary School in Lake City, Florida and is an honor roll student. At an early age Zhaquez Griffin “Fat Boy Fresh” was introduced to music, so it would be safe to say that music is just one with him.
Fat Boy Fresh is not just another kid rapper with dance friendly songs. His mission is to keep it hood, painting vivid pictures into the life and surrounds in which he lives. Taking Hip-Hop back to the art of story telling.
Mostly influenced by Gospel and Hip Hop, Fat Boy Fresh had Hip Hop set in his sights an had plans to move full speed ahead at his goal to become a Rap artist. After attending countless shows and studio sessions with his Dad, who is a member of the group Da Threat. Fat Boy Fresh decided it was time for him to take center stage and the results would be his first single, “Walk Like” and the term one shot one kill would be an understatement.
It is safe to say that Fat Boy Fresh has found his swagger. On February 27, 2010, Fat Boy Fresh won the Rep Your City Talent Show which was his first ever live performance. In June of 2010 Fat Boy Fresh won first place in the Hip-Hop competition on https://www.tradebit.com out of 1200 other artist entries.
Fat Boy Fresh would continue recording his EP, "Fresh Like Me" thought 2010. Also performing at every available event in North Florida and South Georgia. The EP, "Fresh Like Me" will be released on March 8, 2011.
