The Wicked Good Band came out of the woods long enough to pay tribute to the legendary Rufus Doofus with this recording, Maine Cookin''. With back-up assistance on some tracks by Doofus'' own Duffers, the WGB was trying to replicate that "Jelly Donut" style made famous by Doofus in the 40s with mixed success. A follow-up recording, "You Are My Jelly Donut" was never released due to legal battles and gathers dust somewhere in the vast WickGooCo Industries warehouse in Bingham.
