This music is really difficult to categorise. There have been several instances in Western pop music where people have tried to portray a feeling of "American Indian music". This is continued to some degree in my music but it also includes English (Scottish/Irish) folk music influences and even a bit of bluesy/rock influence. The idea was to demonstrate the sharing of music/art/culture between North Western Insdutrial Salford culture and that of the Namgis people from Alert Bay, Vancouver Island, Canada. All proceeds from this song will go to "The Salford Totem Pole Project" and will help to fund its rededication.
