Dominic Margiotti’s debut album, The Pearly Gate Parade is a well-crafted and colorful homespun recording. With pop, rock and folk influences, this 12-song CD conveys curious stories using soulful melodies and lush arrangements.
Raised in NJ, Margiotti discovered his affinity for music at an early age. He and his grandfather, a chef and self-taught musician, spent their days singing songs while thumping away on a rickety piano and old acoustic guitar. Music became a part of every-day-life, and these spontaneous sessions fueled his creative imagination.
Over time, Dominic honed his style and emerged as a unique singer/songwriter. Today, Margiotti records in his home studio joined by fellow musician and songwriter, Marc Abram. The two collaborated on nearly all of the songwriting, instrumentation and production for The Pearly Gate Parade, joined in part by co-producer Dave Giorgio.
