THIS ALBUM IS NOW AVAILABLE AT ITUNES!

Back in the ''80s (and part of the ''90s), Californian born Paul Sabu was a welcome guest at many a writing and recording session of other artists. Among the people he''s written, recorded, or performed with, or whom he procuced albums for, such luminaries as Lee Aaron, DavidBowie,Alice Cooper, Elvira, LittleAmerica, LittleCaesar, Madonna,
Malice, RobbieNeville, SilentRage, TatooRodeo, TheMotels,
TheNelsons, TeriTims, ShaniaTwain, JohnWaite and Wasp (notice how I''ve ranked ''em alphabetically, to refrain from catagorisation by so-called -and subjective-
importance) can be counted. He also has a lot of movie and tv series soundtrack credits, among which are Accused, American Drive-In, Assault Of The Killer
Bimbos, Baywatch, Beverly Hill 90210, Diving In, Ghost Town, Goulies II, Hard Rock Zombies, Meatballs 4, Million Dollar Mystery, Sex And The City, To Die For, Trick Or Treat, Twin Sitters, Vice Versa, and many https://www.tradebit.com has to be said, Paul started his recording career at only 19. Having only picked up a guitar at age 15, he was however sneaking into any local clubs and bars that would let him sit in or plug in his guitar! His own musical vehicles
were Sabu and Only Child, bands with which he recorded albums that were described as big sounding, with lots of depth, fat keyboards, blistering guitars, and
vocals combined with a great chorus. No small wonder that he was the darling of several Melodic Rock magazines, who dubbed him L.A. Session King and AOR hero!
His albums are stíll much sought-after items among AOR lovers, and his reputation as an AOR hero still holds today. For example, in Kerrang''s poll of November 14
th, 2005...Paul Sabu holds 2 of the greatest AOR albums of all times! Which brings us back to Heartbreak, recorded in 1985. Up until then, Paul had always relied on outside engineers, mixers, and producers to bring out the best of his music, but they had never given him the sound he really wanted. So, with the afterthought of, I''m sure I can''t do worse than they do!, he did everything
himself...which started his career as a recording and mixing engineer, and as a producer.
On the album, Paul plays all guitars, and does all lead vocals, as well as some
backing vocals. He''s helped out by keyboard player Dan Ellis, bass player Rick Bozzo, and drummer Charles J. Esposito, who all do backing vocals as well. A fact
not mentioned in the biography we got, is that one Brad Buxer also did additional synth programming. And I can tell you this, because I happen to have the European
vinyl version (released in ''86 through Danish Mega Records). ON TOP OF THE 10songs of the original album, the CD holds 3 bonus tracks that are a must have and a great bonus attraction to this re-issue!

This release deserves a top rating!
