Suzanne Brooks is a vocalist, writer, hula dancer, activist, educator, entrepreneur, owns Creative Concepts Systems and the International Association of women of Color Day. She is a writer whose literary work can be sampled online at https://www.tradebit.com. She is also an actress and sings in several languages. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she has extensive education, including vocal training.
Since recording Even Sad Memories Are Sweet,with Eric Tillman, Brooks formed her own band, The Jazz Generation." The Jazz Generation musicians are a superb trio including Rolin Shafer on keyboard, and Chris Lentine on bass-each outstanding in his own right, performing exciting solos with dynamic combinations of wisdom, experience & purity. The atmosphere of The Jazz Generation is a positive thing to experience-a diversified group that swings, is fun and wonderful to observe. She will also release a new single, her own composition--"Listening To The Radio" before the end of 2005. She wrote the lyrics and music and got help with the arrangement help from Michele Weir.
