Unique was born and raised in Spokane, WA. As a youngster he moved around a lot and went to many different schools in the city, so it was hard for him to get stability in his life. At a young age he started beat boxing and writing rhymes. He eventually realized that music is what gave him stability within himself and no matter what changed around him he could always rely on hip-hop. He got serious about the age of 14 and started purchasing his own studio time. Knowing that music is what his career would consist of, he dropped out of school (not recommended to current students) and started working on his first album "Eternal" at age 17 with his then mentor Genesis Veronon and later dropped it at the age of 20. The album became a local classic and sold over 5,000 copies to this date independently. Fast forwarding to the present, Unique now 24, has released a total of 3 solo albums independently not to mention numerous feature spots on other albums. He has also won numerous freestyle battle competitions and has proved to his fans, enemies, and other artists that he isn''t going anywhere. Unique has also become more hands on when it comes to production, promotion, and management of his own career. He recently moved to the California Bay Area to make new connections and further his fan base. Unique is now working on his 4th solo and most anticipated album "A Day Closer LP" (The EP will drop summer 2010). He says he will also drop his first mix tape directly before the album drops. Both albums will be released on his own label KEEP PUSHIN ENT. at the end of 2010! From a boy to man, Unique has never strayed from his vision and his dream as a hip-hop artist. Even through struggles like poverty, jail time, drugs, alcohol, death, love, relationships, fall outs with friends, money, and pain... Unique has stayed positive and remains focused. As he hits the stage he only has one remark for me... "NORTHWEST STAND UP!"
