Details:
Timothy Falzone’s compositions have appeared in a number of feature films, documentaries and short films, as well as commercials. Though a classically trained saxophone player, he specializes in dark, atmospheric orchestral music and often brings a little bit of his rock background into his scores.

Timothy is a founding member of the national rock band Night Kills The Day, in which he writes and produces songs and plays bass, guitar, piano and numerous other instruments. Night Kills The Day’s critically acclaimed debut album, “The Study of Man...” was given 4 1/2 stars by the prestigious All Music Guide. He is currently working with the band, producing and recording the follow-up release on Warcon Records, with Niel Mclellan, producer and mixer behind UK’s The Prodigy. Timothy has also performed live with many other bands and artist, including Ryan Star on both bass and saxophone.

Timothy began scoring pictures when he was approached to have Night Kills The Day record music for a national IZOD commercial. After always having an affinity for film music, he decided to branch out and pursue a career as a Composer. He was approached by German director Frederick Wiegel to score his short horror film The Collector, which was highly regarded at many European Festivals. This lead to his next film, The Terminals, an emotional drama by director Shannon Stever. Directed by John Spellos, the critically acclaimed feature length documentary, On The Street, about renowned photographer Amy Arbus was Timothy’s next big project. This film featured Timothy’s original score of 1980’s style post-punk and new wave music. It was featured in a number of Film Festivals all over the world. His second project with John Spellos included writing music for a documentary about photographer Debbie Fleming Caffery. He then composed music for a few commercials before beginning his next project, Close to Home, a suspenseful drama starring Stan Shaw (Rocky, Fried Green Tomatoes), which featured a dark orchestral score. Next came the opportunity to score a feature called A Proper Violence by director Chris Faulisi, where Timothy created brooding atmospheric soundscapes composed almost entirely on the electric guitar. He then did another orchestral score for the highly acclaimed short film called Depravity by Ross Evison, which also featured a gritty NYC blues-rock track for the opening titles. He is currently scoring a short film starring Brian Baumgartner of The Office, called Three-Pronged Thomas.

Timothy is the owner operator of The Four Zoas Studio, where he creates original scores, does Sound Design and records ADR. It is becoming known as a “one-stop-shop” for the independent film world. He also produces, engineers and writes songs for numerous other artists.

Timothy is a member of The Society Of Composers and Lyricists. He lives in Irvington, New York with his beautiful and talented wife, Acacia.
