Sonare Work no. 84, nos. 17, 16, 15, 14, 11, 9, and 8 are presented in this electrical recording. The common practice of distributing each piece of music through digital networks has led to a convoluted hearing of a total composition. I''ve placed the sonares in the order in which they should be heard, and the "album" is presented for a single listening.
The individual pieces can be played live, or performed in some cases, as individuals, but in this context a richness of experience can be gleaned from this concertized performance. Downloaded as a singular sound recording, it not only minimizes cost for the listener, but also presents a truer representation of the flow of this secon group of sonares from Work no. 84. It is instructive to refer to the previous release, "Electronic Music", in order to reference the way the listening experience operates in the ongoing set of pieces from Work no. 84.
