I started learning to play the guitar in 1973 and within the year I was on stage at the local folk night with my acoustic guitar. Sometime in 1974 I wowed my girlfriend in the music room at school with a love song I’d written for her. That was it, I was sold on song writing, those first few tunes may have been lost in the depths of time but as the years went on I got a group together. The group disbanded in 1989 and I stopped playing in the early 1990’s. Shortly after 2000 I started re-learning all those old songs and started writing once more. I am now a member of the International Songwriters Association, and I am at last starting to do something with all this material.
