Wandra McGowan co-founded Make A Difference Today Productions in 2011. The company vision statement is to provide social skills development, character education, career exploration activities, and math skills workshops to at-risk elementary and middle school- aged youths.
Wandra is a Math teacher with experience in the middle and high school levels, entrepreneur, and aspiring writer from Greenville, South Carolina, where she resides with her husband and two children.
In 2006, Wandra wrote her first novel entitled “THE COACH’S DAUGHTER.’ It was placed on Greenville County Schools Summer Reading List in 2008. Recently, the novel was turned into the screenplay, “BLESSED BY AN ANGEL.” “BLESSED BY AN ANGEL’ is an inspirational story about a family’s strength, determination, love, perseverance and the power of forgiveness.
In 2011, Wandra co-wrote her 5th song entitled "Stomp Out The Bullying". The song was written to address the problem of bullying and to help stop it one stomp at a time.
