This album has a feeling of being recorded lively and joyfully. This is, as a matter of facts, true. During three sunny days in 2004 the band Levande Krabbor did this excellent recording of translated Irish traditional songs. The Swedish lyrics fits the music perfectly and the obvious inspiration from the Irish Dubliners shines through clearly.
Martin Lignell''s passion for keeping the essence but changing the skin is represented in his translations. The stories are intact, but they are all moved to the west coast of Sweden.
