She was always keen on Music and the Arts, yet chose to try a different path in life, at first. She worked in the Advertising and Marketing field for various firms in the Ivory Coast. It wasn’t long before 2001,when she was introduced to Alain Sawaya who brought her back to her utmost passion : music. Such started the sincere and productive collaboration of these two artists.
In 2005, Stephanie Farhat, under the wing of Alain Sawaya signed a contract with EMI, the multinational music firm, and recorded in Lebanon, her very first album ‘Into the Circle’, album containing the song ‘Boom Boom Beat’ which got to be notoriously known throughout the Middle East. “Boom Boom Beat” was included in many compilations in the Middle Est and in France.

She has also been travelling in the quest of new contacts and musical experiences. Her idea for music can be defined as such, music is a different language, and Stephanie Farhat is always on the look out for different styles and rhythms.

The most recent collaboration between Stephanie Farhat and Alain Sawaya, resulted in the launching of her new Album ‘Eclectic’. The album was made through the harmony that she found in herself, in the differences and similarities with other genres of music, her origins, experiences and artistic sensitivity.
‘Eclectic’ contains 14 songs, in both English and French, acquiring a fluent mix of Oriental beats and Occidental sobriety. Tagged as Rhythm Blues, old-school Rock, Funk, and Celtic.
