Sounds of Saturn is a three piece instrumental experimental rock group based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Wanting to break away from the trendy East Coast Indie rock sound that has flooded the music industry as well as the local music scene, Sounds of Saturn set out to create music that was unique, complex, and beautiful; the result was the debut album, Mars Via Parachutes which was written and recorded between May and October 2010. Featuring experimental instrumentals with math based tempos, groove based jams, and spacey psychedelic sounds, Mars Via Parachutes takes you on a journey into sonic psychedelic space that will be sure to please.
