Sheli Aarden is a singer/songwriter originally from Central NJ now located near Trenton, NJ and The Jersey Shore. “Her music reflects her personal journey with a calm and uplifting twist of soulful inspiration."-Peace Media Social Revolution. She started her musical journey only a few years back when she taught herself how to play the guitar. She has always written poetry from a very young age about things that inspire her. Once she learned how to play the guitar, she was able to put the inspiration that drove her to music. Now Sheli is playing regularly at venues throughout NJ and PA and has received Asbury Music Award Nominations for Top Female Act in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. Sheli also received 2 nominations in the 1st annual NJ JAM Awards 2010 for Top Female Performer and Top Female Songwriter. Sheli’s first CD, “Digging for Daylight” has been getting airplay on https://www.tradebit.com and her fans request the familiar songs that they have gotten to know and love at her shows. Look forward to a new and fresh sound in Sheli’s songwriting in the next couple of months.
