ROCK VOODOO ~ Biography ..edited by Hollywood - Tim Heller started Rock Voodoo a Vancouver based alternative rock, funk, blues band on June 21 2008. He is the lead singer, songwriter and guitar player of over 100 original tunes. Much of the new material is centered on vocals with harmonies and is a modern Rock with a 60’s-70’s driving Rock vibe to it. Rock Voodoo has played Vancouver Clubs such as the Anza Club, Darby’s, Myles and Beans, The Fairview, Gringo Dave''s, Vancouver Heritage Hall and more. Supporters of local causes, they have been featured as headliners in the Jammin’ for Justin Benefit, the Cancer Institute Fundraiser 2010 and the Wreck Beach Spirit park Preservation Societies Annual Christmas fund raiser in 2009 and 2010
Rock Voodoo was showcased on the street stages for the Made in Vancouver Festival in Yaletown (Vancouver) during the 2010 Olympic Games, where a full on taste of original, talent was featured for the many international guests. Rock Voodoo was well received, as the streets filled with dancing energy and ended with a standing ovation. Currently producing a video for the song “Sunset Blvd”, this endeavor found its roots while Tim was in Los Angeles. Shooting scenes along Sunset Blvd. the principal photography is on 35mm film and is now in midst of filming completion in Vancouver.
Rock Voodoo recorded and Produced the album ” Never Leave it too Late” with 12 original songs. RV’s song writer Tim Heller is an incredibly knowledgeable Rock n Roll history Fanatic! From all the great styles of music from the "History of Rock” they are mixed up in a Mojo pot to create "Rock Voodoo" music. Yeah it Rocks ! Rock On
