BIO:
Syris and Syron Lemon were born December 11, 1984 within the city limits of Houston, Texas, to parents John Thomas III and Janice Marie Lemon. Their roots are buried deep in the bayou of New Orleans, Louisiana. After their parents separated, Ms. Lemon decided to move her family away from the murder capital to Hogansville, Georgia so that her kids would be able to have an opportunity lifestyle. There she met her second husband Dennis White, and moved to his hometown of Roanoke, Alabama. The brothers at the age of eight started a rap group named 3.4 with Dennis nephew Jonathan White. The group based most of their lyrics off influence of the street lifestyle they were observing and the church environment that their mothers struggled to keep them involved in. Though their dreams of rapping were short lived, it provided a spark that would manifest into a flame. In 1998 Janice and Dennis decided it was time for a change of scenery and moved to LaGrange, GA. Life was changing pretty fast for the brothers and music was not part of the wardrobe. Their mother had once again separated from another man; following the separation she had a stroke and remained disabled from work. Their older sister, Shakitha Lemon became mother and sister at a blink of an eye. Drugs were the family business on both sides of their parent’s family, so they would soon inherit the hustle. Business was good for Shakitha, managing to become a real money maker in the game. She didn’t want her brothers to follow suit, so she forced them to get jobs and giving them both responsibility. While their peers were worried about pimples and exams the brothers were becoming men at the tender age of fifteen. The brothers would soon look to graduate from high school but big sister would not be available to support their accomplishment. She was arrested and sent away to prison for a couple of years, which left the brothers to put to use what they had been learning and observing throughout their years. Due to the fact that their mother continued to use heavy drugs, she left to go back to the city of New Orleans, while leaving the brothers a house where they would have to keep up with the payments.
The infamous Stonewall house brought together the brothers and middle school friend Lamorous Williams to form a bond of brothers called 3rd Boys. The 3rd boys became a menace to society expanding up to forty plus members. Drugs, parties, brawls, shoot outs, if you named it in 2004, the 3rd Boys were involved. The fast life was moving fast and members were dropping rapidly, so just like every gangster movie there is a rise and a fall. The remaining six members continued to go hard, but also started to go astray but a common hobby of writing and rapping kept the guys close. They recorded numerous of songs but only one stood out. Older brother Syris developed his craft faster than his peers, rapping with no pen or pad using what was known as the recite method; while his younger brother Syron possessed a gift for writing but didn’t have the delivery to quite grab the attention. Their passion for the music would once again be brought to a halt as the brothers started to go their separate ways. Syris would go off to experience the college life while Syron remained with original 3rd member Lamorous in LaGrange to roam the streets. He would soon find himself in the county jail for forty days and forty nights for burglary. Once released, he reunited with sister Shakitha in Atlanta, GA where their aunt resided. Syris would soon join the two after four semesters of schooling. Survival was the primary, but doing things the legal way was the focus for the small family of siblings. Couple of more years had passed and Syron decided to take a different approach to his shared dream. He started Writers Ink Production and decided to just stay behind the scenes, but God had a different plan. After many written songs Syron couldn’t get anyone who was serious about their craft to perform the lyrics; so he decided to give his unbalanced delivery another shot. By using the recite method and going off inspiration for a couple of months, he would soon find his delivery. In 2009 Syron recorded his first solo song, “The Icebreaker”. The song would display his growth in delivery as well as crafty wordplay. Older brother finally gave him the stamp of approval, but not only that; he would be inspired to give their shared dream one last push. The brothers established their label NuEra Music Group, releasing their first mixtape, The Appetizer summer 2010. They would run as a duo group naming themselves R.I.S.E. (Righteous Instruments Stimulates the Ears), so that their new followers would understand the type of music they were brining into the industry. With Syris alias as "LeMon'' and Syron going by "Sy-Fi", R.I.S.E. became a breath of fresh air.
“He who R.I.S.E. over adversity, is destined for greatness.”
