Chuck Joy is a spoken word artist poet with multiple publication and live poetry credits. The Chairman of Erie County Pennsylvania''s Poetry Committee, he is also co-Chair for the Art Committee of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Chuck hosts Poetry Scene, a weekly open mic poetry event at The Erie Book Store. Kurt Sahlmann is a musician and a poet, producer and solo artist, creator of The KURTS'' Purples. Kurt is a frequent contributor to Poetry Scene. Guest poets are Monica Igras and Darryl M. Brown. Live at The Jive was recorded live, at The Jive, a coffeehouse/performance space on State Street in the heart of Erie Pennsylvania, by coincidence in December.
