Details:
Marcus Singletary is a musician who began his career in Chicago. He studied communications at Northwestern University and, subsequently, jazz guitar at Musician''s Institute. Journalist Philip Stone says, "Marcus Singletary has skills out the gills; his voice has the right attitude and his guitar playing is sharp" (Splendid, 2004), and these qualities are responsible for a lengthy career in recording and performance. He has showcased at Henry Fonda Theater, House of Blues, and as a part of the Chamber of Commerce''s 2010 Sherman Oaks Street Fair, and has worked with Bruce Iglauer of Alligator Records, Chet McCracken (Doobie Brothers), and many others.
