Ne-yo, Justin Timberlake, Micheal Jackson, all names that Q has been associated with. Performing with the passion of MJ, as Charming as JT, and as smooth as Ne-yo. Born and raised in the south (Hilton Head SC), Q took his talents from his small home town to Las Vegas NV. There he expanded and made appearances for doing commercials for MTV, American eagle, Red Line (movie trailer), live performances etc. A phone call of opportunity brought Q back to the east coast (Charlotte NC). There he worked with producer, song writer, and recording artist, Eric Gunderson of "Love and Theft", on his first album entitled Structure" Ft. Eric Gunderson along with Q''s group members Freddie G and Drew B; Ft. the hit single "Let it Go", a soft Soulful R&B ballad, written and produced by Q and Eric Gunderson, sung by Q ft. Eric. The group split after the first album but, Q continued recording with Erick, who was then well on his way to great things with his band Love and Theft". With the influences of Life and the sounds generated by Eric''s music production, Q recorded his first solo album entitled "Let it Go" using his last best selling single now, as one of his great motivating, inspirations. This lead to the production of other great singles including "Second Chances" that starts as a spoken/sung verse into a spoken/rapped pre chorus into a rock chorus Ft. Eric; and "One Good Reason" a Soulful song about trying to pick up pieces love from a love, while asking for help to get through all the heart ache he has felt once before. With inspiration stemming from so many different origins this gave this album a great sound and feeling including R&B/PoP/Rock/Hip Hop/Soul and led to album sale, copies selling in the US, as well as Japan, Canada, Germany, and Australia
