BANKROBBER is the the song that inspired the Junkies to embark on this crazy Single of The Month Campaign. It has long been one of our favorite Clash tunes. We were so happy to have Gina Longo of Shebang guest with us. Her band is great and they have a killer, award winning album out. She brought her great unique voice to this track and also a rock hard electric guitar that we never could match. We cleared out a spot for her to solo and she said "F--- That!" and just plowed thru with serious riffage that Johnny Ramone would have been proud of. The Junkies motto has always been why hit one string when you can hit 6 at a time, and Gina seemed to really buy into that concept.
