Here''s the story of the song if I was to make a video of it. Guy meets a girl online, they live far apart. They chat for awhile, get to know each other, finally agree to meet. The dreamy part in the beginning, guy is on the plane and starts to daydream, going into the song. He imagines all the things they''ll do when he gets there. The dream at the end is he''s waking up as the plane is landing.
This song has been developing for 8 years. The framework is basically Rhythm changes, with a non Rhythm bridge, with some pop 4 on the floor beats. The title comes from a good friend of mine who wrote some words to the sax solo, but the tune moved a little too fast to articulate the lyrics.
The original writing of this came from an internet affair for a woman I never met, but we had long nice chats. The names have been omitted to protect the innocent! So the story is somewhat autobiographical, although we never met
The sax solo was recorded 7 years ago, although I did change the background music as I acquired new recording software and learned how to use it, I also added different beats and played the rhythm guitar live.
