This musical endeavor creates a warm envelope for one to crawl inside and peek around. The music itself is very calming but what happens when we are free of other distractions is that the mind tries to create new one''s. It is healthy to look at these thoughts as well.
"Relativity" invites one to travel inward. The music offers a cocoon to practice in. This is a nice tool for individuals beginning a practice. The beats and the texture of the sounds become the mantra, It takes ones attention from the outside world and into their bodies.
Nurtured by the rocking vibrations, one can easily feel protected by the songs on "Lucid Dreams" and enter a serene state of mind. One focuses on the sound, and suddenly the days to-do list and menial tasks seem to float away. This frees up one greatly to bask in the present moment.
The textures in this project are rich, and varied and create imagery of a faraway land. In this sense, the album is very explorational. At the essence, Yoga is about self exploration, in the mind and body.
We have all experienced the calming effects of music. Many of us are comforted by it every night as we slip off to sleep state, free of thoughts. If an album can calm one and aid them as they turn inward to there thoughts and their mind, then the music has transformational powers.
