Channeling an array of rock influences from Metric to Tegan & Sara, from Smashing Pumpkins to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Love Darling is an indie rock trio that''s been making sonic waves on the Los Angeles scene since 2010. The band formed when the lives of guitarist/vocalist Shay Magro, bassist/keyboardist Mike Wolpe, and drummer Christian Jovanny Trujillo, collided in a visceral and serendipitous explosion. The details are still a bit fuzzy, but they each recall it had something to do with late night diners, imaginary friends, cobblestone streets, fortune-tellers and a love-tester machine. Their latest release, Sunshine Dust, is featured on Showtime''s premiere series, The Real L Word, and has been buzzing across the net finding its way onto taste-makers playlists. Love Darling is currently back in the studio recording new tracks for their next release in 2011.
The song, Hazy, was picked up as the theme song for the new Showtime series, The Real L Word, premiered June 2010, and will be making a return in Season 2.
