Amberlove''s Kathryn Froggatt grew up in the music business and, being surrounded by musicians, this talent began to rub off on her. Becoming a backing singer for US pop rock band Wheatus in 2001 she moved to New York and the 5 years following would find her touring the world whilst contributing to the writing and recording of Wheatus’ next 2 albums.
However, looking for her own musical direction & wanting the realisation of a long held dream she began writing her own music. Demos were sent via Skype from New York to Sydney where they were worked on by Kathryn’s producer & father David Froggatt. These were then sent back to NY where demo vocals were recorded.
Kathryn left Wheatus in 2006 to dedicate herself to her solo career and headed back to Australia with enough songs for an album.
