AllenAaron is a Christian Hip Hop/Rap group created by two brothers, Tyler (Allen) and Taylor (Aaron) Murphy. While Tyler is a songwriter, rapper, and artist, Taylor is a singer, rapper, and dancer. They both handed their lives over to God at a young age and have grown to become strong Christian young men through the influence of their parents, pastors, friends, and Christian rap music. Tyler was inspired to write “Thank You” and “On High” as a surprise gift for his grandmother for her birthday. AllenAaron performed the songs at her 60th birthday party, and every since then Tyler has been writing music that glorifies God.
AllenAaron has been spreading the gospel in various places through their music. They pour out their hearts for the Lord, and every song has a story behind it with creative lyrics. AllenAaron believes that Christian Rap is a powerful tool for conveying the gospel and godly principles to today’s society. Though it is only beginning to become popular in the entertainment industry, it is definitely needed. They believe that God is calling them to be a part of a rap movement that will ultimately transform the music industry since the word of God is good for the spirit, soul, heart and mind. AllenAaron’s desire is to make God’s principles current and relevant to a world in need to help encourage, uplift, and inspire people living in today’s urban culture.
