"Easy to Love" was recorded at the Kung Fu Bakery Recording Studio, Portland Oregon, August and September 2010. This Cole Porter CD was arranged specifically for the Portland Chamber Orchestra, so the orchestrations are rich in strings, harp, oboes, french horns and trumpet. I''m a crooner mixed with some drama of broadway and I think you''ll like the romance of this CD. There are no synthesized sounds on this CD. We made this album the old fashioned way! The drums and percussion play an important role in this project and Ron Abel, the multi-musical talent, famed NYC and LA composer, arranger, orchestrator created these award winning arrangements and directed and produced this album. It was a joy to sing and interpret these 12 Cole Porter songs. Cole Porter was the master of romance, his eternal themes of love, joy, obsession and romance just refuse to date. The superb musicians, the arrangements and orchestrations are sophisticated and contemporary. The album is romantic and dramatic and will definitely bring a smile to your face. It is a high quality CD with extraordinary recording skills, mixing and mastering by Bob Stark, Kung Fu Bakery Recording. Working with world class musicians, using the best recording studio in Portland Oregon and having Ron Abel and Bob Stark pull all this together was a dream come true. I believe we have honored the brilliant talent of Mr. Cole Porter and I trust you will enjoy listening to these songs as much as we loved recording it.
