I wanted to do a CD that sounds like my live appearances (when I lead worship for events or at our church). While I''m probably a better piano/keyboard player than guitarist, I have a soft spot for overdriven delay type guitars (think U2, Chris Tomlin, or Lincoln Brewster) and big rock anthems, so thought it would be fun to do a recording that features those things. There''s a little funky sauce/gospel/R&B here and there as well (I was born in Africa after all!), so it''s not just rock and roll. And the song at the end is super personal about part of the journey to parenthood for my wife and I. So there''s a lot on this CD, I hope you enjoy it! -Peter
