Details:
Dok Trauma............ aka the "Stitch Dokta".
Bustin'' rhymes since ya momma dropped ya.

Growing up on the shores of Lake Champlain in Georgia,
a rural town comprised mostly of dirt roads,
there was no hip hop influence about.
Some how at age 10 I got my hands on a mix tape
which included Beastie Boys "Paul Revere".
Next I picked up Public Enemy''s "It Takes A Nation".
At age 12 I had written my first rap. The class project was
to write a one page poem and recital. My theme was anti-drug.
At 14 I met C.A.T., he also was a rhyme https://www.tradebit.com in Milton,
another rural town comprised mostly of dirt roads and farms,
people labled us as "wiggas". We were shunned by the adults
of the community, who didn''t want the influx of the hip hop
culture, which would inevitably come. As teenagers,we
performed at talent shows, parties, and school dances. In ''97 we
were split as a group when C.A.T. moved to the ATL.
In 2001, I started performing at clubs in Burlington,VT.
Doing talent contests, open mics, and commisioned shows.
Raptragedy Records was born. I had a new crew.............
"Run e. Mouth", -lyricist- we met the Burlington DMV
"Natron of Fairfax", -lyricist- we hooked up at party I perfomed at
"Ammtrax", -lyricist-street muscle- Straight outta Birchwood
"Bad Uncle", -promoter-panty slayer- Cooper Rd. Crew
Eventually the C.A.T. came back and we got to work together again.
Undoubtably, the most talented lyricist i have gotten a chance to work
with to this day. But once again, like a cat,he has gone a stray, back
down south way.
The album "Akt of God" is a strictly solo project. Hopefully some day
I can release some of those trax from the daze of lore. We had a lot
of fun creating and performing them and I think you would enjoy the
rawness and realism of the trax.
I will be releasing some where around forty trax this year. A few of
them are older trax and many trax will be available as free downloads!
I produce it all from beats to grafix and Im not a pro in any sense when it
comes to sound engineering. Any constructive-criticism would be welcomed.
I feel that rap music is looked upon by most of the world as an urban
by-product,but more and more, it is being produced on old back roads. A
mixture of green mountain grass with the urban sounds of hip hop.
"A white boy from Vermont who raps......really?" I get that a lot.
Bent on sensationalism, the industry doesn''t allow room for any thing but
pop culture so we don''t get the exposure that every artist of any genre
deserves.
Thankfully in this digital age it easier for us back road "ballaz"
to get our music out there.
