From Sacramento, California Shakedown in one form or another has been together since the mid 90''s. They have released 3 full length records: Walk the Plank, Down For Always, and "Call It What You Want" (which is also AVAILABLE AT https://www.tradebit.com or https://www.tradebit.com). The Current form of Shakedown is the original rhythm section of Mikey on Drums and Randy on Bass, as well as Mark on guitar and vocals and new members Bles on vocals, Mr. Vibe on Turntables, a revolving couple of sax players, and A.J. on keys and production. They are currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on the fourth album: NEW SOUND DELIVERY. This record should be out by Fall. Look for this record to have more of a hip hop influence than the previous three. Known for their energetic and consistantly good live performances Shakedown has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with such acts as Filibuster, Long Beach Short Bus, Slightly Stoopid, Papa Roach, Fishbone, UB40, and Pepper just to name a few. The Band signed with Indie record label Root One Music in 2003 and NEW SOUND DELIVERY will be the second record the band has done with Root One. The First Single from NEW SOUND DELIVERY is LOVE TO GET LOVE and It also contains three other songs.
