Their influences include Junior Kimbrough, Soundgarden, Jimi Hendrix, and the North Mississippi Allstars. This album is a long time coming for this band. The follow-up is due out later this year and is bound to knock the Whiskey out of your pocket and right into your mouth. Ass Pocket is coming.

James Lewandowski, or "Watermelon Man" as his friends from the barber shop call him, is now in the studio using previously recorded material to put together Ass Pocket''s sophomore effort. "I had a lot of demons to confront after the accident," he commented, referencing the late 2003 doily factory fire that claimed the lives of his 3 bandmates. "It was bad. I was eating 3 bottles of children''s tylenol a day and chasing them with packets of splenda. I knew I''d hit rock bottom when an Entertainment Tonight news crew found me in my room at the Motel Six outside of Piscataway, just off the Jersey Turnpike. I won''t go into details, but let''s just say it involved two ferrets, a clown suit, 30 pounds of cream cheese, a bowling ball and a stick of dynamite. It was then that I knew I desperately needed to seek help."
And find help he did. "If I hadn''t have met Denny Miller [who played ''Tongo the Ape Man'' in 2 episodes of Gilligan''s Island] when I did, I don''t know where I''d be. He straightened me out - helped me figure out what was really important in my life. I''ve finally tamed my restless soul." Since returning from his 6 and a half hour life affirming retreat with Miller into the dumpster behind the Johnny Rocket''s on South St. in Philadelphia, Lewandowski has been actively pursuing his interest in the shaving of peruvian llamas, using their hair and toenails combined with vegetable shortening and a dash of nutmeg, as a source of alternate fuel for his 1964 McLane Power Mower. "I''ve found clarity and inner harmony in the work that I do now." When asked if this was to be the last of Ass Pocket''s recordings that would be heard by the public, he replied, "Who''s to say? Right now I''m taking life one parsnip at a time. I''ve invested my entire advance into an ostrich farm. Jessie Ventura told me it''s the chicken of the future."
Well, I don''t think I''m alone in lifting my flask and throwing back a nice pull and dedicating it to Ass Pocket of Whiskey - the chicken of the future.
